Ideal Job

I don't think I mentioned it, but a few weeks ago one of my acct. teachers let us know of a job that is perfect for me. It's a part time position as a "Finance Assistant" with Big Brothers Big Sisters. They're looking for someone to help with accouting stuff like the financials and Accounts Payable etc. And they'd like to get someone for at least a year so they don't have to go through the training so often. Because of my weird credits/year classification I have plenty of classes under my belt and I'll be here for two more years. And the fact that I'd be working for such a great organization just adds to the package. I was so excited I emailed them my resume that night...and never heard anything back. I'd pretty much given up on the idea when they called Thursday to ask me to come in for an interview!!! I'm thrilled. There are only going to be 5 other interviews at most, so I might have a chance. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I REALLY want this job! If you could think some happy intelligent interview thoughts for me that'd be great.

Not much else is going on around here. Jaime finally got his tax return (the bigger federal part at least) so after a shower I'm off to the bead store. The lys isn't in the cards for today, but hopefully he give up a little more $$ so I can go soon. After the beads I'm going to my mom's to do some laundry and then my dad is taking me to my fave Chinese restaurant, Bo Lings. Yummm. My mom is doing great and can now drive herself places. My Aunt Vicki will be driving in from Louisianna Wed. or Thur. which should be fun.

Sunday night Jaime and I are going on a date. We haven't been able to go out for months. So we're driving 40 miles to our favorite movie theater (there are ones closer, but none are as nice, or let you put the butter on your own popcorn hehe) to see Downfall. I don't know if I've mentioned it, but we're *edited* fascinated with Hitler. *edited* It's crazy what he was able to accomplish, being able to convince so many people that his evil ideals were right, placating the rest of the world for so long despite his horrendous acts and intentions. It's really interesting to see inside his head and why he had such radical views. We watch everything about him on the History Channel and even saw a show about his last few days a week ago (we didn't realize that's what the movie is about). My mom told me about it a while ago and it made it to our favorite theater so I convinced Jaime we should go. I didn't mention the subtitles cause I was afraid that he wouldn't want to see it, but he looked up the preview online and was thrilled that it is subtitled. I forgot, but he was/is sorta into anime so he doesn't mind subtitles much and he'd rather not be taken out of the story by and English speaking Hitler. It looks really good and now we're both excited :)

Well, that's my weekend. Oh, and that studying for that big test Tuesday, haha. Have a great weekend :)

Oh- good luck with the job interview! Just be yourself and ask questions of them also.

Tax returns are awesome... Too bad I already spent mine. :(

    Hope your test goes well!
