Funny?
In order to distract you from my lack of knitting content*, I'd like to offer this joke thanks to inspiration from a certain Yarn Harlot.
Q:How many men does it take to wallpaper a living room?
A: Two if they're thinly sliced.
So, what do you think? Hilarious? Sorta amusing? Just weird? See, this is my favorite joke of all time. Jaime can walk up to me and out of the blue say "Two, thinly sliced" and I'll break into uncontrollable giggles. But he thinks it's dumb.
So to set the record straight. (I won't get my feelings hurt, I swear) Do you think it's funny? Feel free to take a poll of your own.
*I've finished one sock, but have yet to photograph it. The second one is SLOWLY coming along as I've gotten a bit sidetracked by books.

Hello, Anyone Out There?
I love you my few loyal readers! Until I have something else interesting to post (it's looking like once a week is my max this summer...) here's something fun :)
Please leave a one-word comment that you think best describes me - it can only be one word long. Then copy and paste this into your blog so that I may leave a word about you.
So, any takers?

My Random Day
Hey, everyone else is doing it.
1. Is it weird that the only playlist I've created in iTunes is "Drinking Songs"? I am in college I guess...
2. My Aunt Vicki is coming into town for the week of Easter. Her birthday also happens to be on Easter and I've volunteered to make her a pair of socks. Why do I open my mouth??
3. Because of the above, all other knitting (should, in theory) be put to the side immediately considering my history with socks. And I'm thinking I should go for full socks, as opposed to ankle socks which is what I make for myself, which means more knitting.
4. I've decided on a project for my handspun, Panta. I don't have a link for the pattern, but everyone's made one and you can probably find it on Craftster if you search. I think I'll have enough for at least a narrower one and I love the pattern. Yaay! Oh, but not until the socks are done, right.
5. Saw some action last night. No, unfortunately it wasn't THAT kind of action. I swear we might as well be married... Anyway, right as we were getting ready to get in bed last night we saw two police cars pull someone over in the parking lot of our apts. As Jaime says, "It doesn't take two cops to write a ticket," so we were curious. Apparently (I wasn't watching yet) the guy got out of his car and tried to jump this like 6+ foot fence, which fell down. Then they had to like tackle him and stuff. Hey, you don't see this stuff here too often. Pretty soon there were 7 cop cars all over the place. They carted him off and didn't appear to find anything of interest, though they certainly looked. We maybe sat at the window and watched this for 40 minutes. Sakes, we are boring huh?
6. Tuesday night we're off to see wrestling live. Don't know if I've mentioned this before, but Jaime's a HUGE lifelong wrestling fan. I never would have given it the time of day if not for him, but now I'll watch sometimes with him or at least keep up on the stories. It's seriously the same as the soaps with some fighting in between. Oh, and there are some cute guys too. Anyway, this will be my first live show and I'm actually pretty excited. Sports are always more fun in person. And I could be on tv :)
That's about all the randomness I have for now. I swear, I will get those pictures soon. Hopefully Monday will be nice enough for an outdoor photoshoot. Happy weekend!

And Things Get Crazy
Somehow it's only a week and a half till we move. How did that happen?? Things have just been nuts. I'm trying to get all my wallet stuff taken care of (thanks for all the well wishes), Jaime working a TON. We haven't packed a SINGLE THING. Oh, and my dad, our moving helper, he's going to be in Dallas at a school for his job (read: he'll be hanging at the pool in a nice hotel getting paid for it) the week we're moving. So we're all on our own! Isn't that great? Luckily my dad's letting me borrow his truck while he's gone, and Jaime thinks he can give a guy at work a few bucks to help with the bigger things we have to move. Oh, and we'll be on the third floor God help us. And we're completely broke. I had noodles with butter and couple slices of peperoni for lunch (yeah, so much for healthy eating). We found out like a week ago that we have to get renter's insurance before we move in and we have to have August's rent ready when we move in. And Jaime's having issues with his parents and his car insurance, long story. So it's like everything is happening at the same time. So yeah, I probably won't be blogging for a couple weeks at least. I'll try to check in with everyone when I can. Sorry for all the whining here.
And a huge thanks to the sweetest girl ever over at Shamrock Crafts. Jenn sent me some yarn for my shapely tee, which I guess means I have to start working on it again, as well as a nice note, some beautiful stitch markers (which I'll try to get a picture of before all this moving stuff starts) and some scrapbooking supplies. I really needed that today, thanks for making me smile! I'll have to think up a good thank you gift.
Hope ya'll have a great couple weeks! I've been reading Aunt Purl too much.
